Can you help me come up with a derogatory / insightful genre title

moker [Edit] [Delete] 11:38, 20 February '14

For all these made in Chelsea style soundtrack songs out everywhere these days.
Kinda poppy, full of synth, lots of percussive nonsense, floor tom banging, a bit ethereal, that kinda trendy Hoxton bloke / early 20s slight-cockney voice. Think shit quiffs, cable knit jumpers with carrot pants and espadrilles. But girl vocals too. A bit Ellie Goulding, a bit Zola Jesus, a bit Bastille, a bit The Cast of Cheers, a bit The 1975. Sometimes angular guitary, sometimes not, but lots of vague synth bollocks.

Argh, I’m struggling to even describe it, hence asking for help to describe it. The sounds of NOW. That’s what I’m talking about. That derivative sound that’s everywhere. And it’s not just pop. It’s all the supposed “cool” in bands.
So gimmie a nice genre title for it.
