How much do you try to make sure you shave up to the same point on both sides? I pay very little attention to it, but I remember when I first started shaving it felt of paramount importance, and even in sixth form people would pull other people up on it if their sideburns were slightly different lengths.

I have very short stubby sideburns, not really sideburns at all, so who gives a fuck if they're not the same length?
