Kraftwerk have announced they will be playing a special concert in Utrecht to mark the Grand Depart of this year's Tour de France. I've decided that a) I want to go to this, and b) I'm going to cycle there. It's about 300 miles of riding, or 200 if you get the train to Dover and only cycle from Calais.

Cycling across Europe, watching Kraftwerk, and seeing the start of the Tour all in the (hopefully) beaming sunshine - perfect!

Anyone done anything like this before? Anyone cycled in mainland Europe before - what's it like?
