I’m bored at work today so I made a list of every item of clothing I expect to buy in 2015. I’ve found everything available online still in the sales and in stock in my size, so I could buy everything right now for a considerable financial outlay, or buy the each item when I need it as the year progress, which will cost a significant amount more in total.

Things to consider:
- I am a fully grown adult and am not prone to growth spurts or fluctuating weight
- The items of clothing on my list are not particularly in trend, and my tastes aren’t in keeping up with fashion, but more good quality well fitting items
- My tastes in clothing have now plateaued and I’m unlikely to “go off” things

Seems foolproof really. I save a bit of coin in the long term and don’t have to think about clothes for the rest of the year.
