Going to gigs alone

aactv [Edit] [Delete] 00:46, 5 February '15

Sure there's been a thread about this before somewhere - but what do people do if there's a band they really really want to see, yet they pretty much know nobody else who actually likes them, or at least certainly nobody else who lives anywhere near.

Basically, this is a thread where I try to decide whether to see Purity Ring on my own in Bristol in May.

I always feel incredibly self-conscious being in big social sort of areas on my own, probably a hangup of being the kid at school with no friends. But then, the experience of a really good gig would either make all the awkwardness go away or at the least make it worth it, right?
