apparently neopets has "done a drownedinsound". and by that i mean: sacked all it's staff and descended the website into chaos

i had an account on neopets from around the ages of 6 - 13. it got shut down after i left it logged in at a friends house and he swore on the site. this is after i'd spent several years saving up to buy the 'secret lab' map which did a random update to your pet, etc.

also the first messageboard i posted on was a neopets forum, which in retrospect was equally a support group for young adults with aspergers, pre-tumblr.
