So what they're saying is competition doesn't work. There's also this weird flavour to it of "Why on EARTH don't these proles constantly switch suppliers to save up to £160 a year?" I dunno mate, probably because we're all sick to death of the inevitable clusterfuck as both suppliers bill us and we try to switch over?

Or maybe it's that it takes several hours to research the 'best' tariff for your house and not all of us, particularly those of us with kids etc. who might need that most, can easily get the time to work this out. And that's before you consider that it might have changed again in a couple of months. The idea of changing energy tariffs all over the place is such a joke.
