Nice new Vans lace-ups, a birthday present from my grandmother (who recently died). I was on my way to work when a gang of men came round the corner with a knife, forced me to hand over my wallet and phone, then told me to take off my shoes so I couldn't chase them. I was standing there, in shock, when some guy sauntered past, picked them up the cycle path, and walked off, like he didn't even see me. It really added insult to injury.
