I'm sure by now you've all read the awful story of our very own hip_young_gunslinger's lost shoes this morning.

I strongly believe that we, as a community, are capable of genuine acts of human kindness when one of our own is suffering. To that end, I propose that we all chip in whatever we can afford towards the cost of a pair of black Vans lace-ups.

I'll get the Kickstarter up this afternoon, but I wanted to let you all know early so his plight isn't forgotten.
