seeing as everyone's well excited about Bake Off starting in 2 weeks, let's talk about baking. what things do you like to bake? any stand-out recipes that everyone loves when you make them? and is there anything you absolutely cannot get right no matter how many times you try?

salted caramel cupcakes and cherry cheesecake brownies always go down well with my friends, and brownies and lime cheesecake are always fun to make. I'm really shit at making normal cupcakes though - made some lemon cupcakes today and although the icing is great and saves the whole thing from being a disaster, the cupcakes themselves were crap and tasted weirdly eggy.
