Do you do this often? I've been invited to a friend's birthday meal tomorrow and I'm not going to go. I haven't really got much of an excuse other than (a) I've got quite a busy weekend already and (b) it's one of those meals where there's going to be about 20-30 people there (not my thing, really).

Just to make this thread a little more DiS, I do feel a slight pang of guilt about not going.
