Best/worst?

Apparently I'll be doing a cookery class with my team to make our own dinner. While this is blatantly an effort to avoid having to pick up a big restaurant bill, I think it sounds quite fun.

My PhD supervisor thought we should all go to an overseas conference together as a group bonding exercise that grant money would pay for, but budgetary constraints turned it into an overnight trip to Stevenage instead. The group curry the evening before the conference gave everybody horrific diarrhea, though, so we did at least get to have the group bonding experience of everyone trying to get through a day of talks without poo dribbling down our legs.
