#BEST: Comet, Christchurch. Storeperson - involved managing the stock in the warehouse, taking TVs and things to people's cars, etc. Used to sit around in the back listening to music and kicking a football about, but it did get busy enough from time to time. Once unsuccessfully tried to sell a hi-fi system whilst using SFA's The International Language Of Screaming :D
#WORST: CR Coffee Shop, Christchurch. aka Crap Restaurant. Came home stinking of grease, cigarette smoke (this was pre-smoking ban, where you'd have a section of the restaurant for smokers) and coffee grits. Got paid £2.00ph, rising to £2.50ph. Other than a brief spell selling icecreams from the hatch in the summer, it was bloody awful.
