'Chip butties'

imaperv [Edit] [Delete] 10:22, 21 March '16

It came to my attention yesterday that a 'chip butty' not only exists in the North, but is a popular item of food in fish and chip shops. (Apparently yer Northern fish and chip shops only stock two types of fish as well.) The Northerners present were not only shocked at this just not being a Southern thing, but at the fact that a fish and chip shop wouldn't stock bread. But why the hell would you need bread with anything on a fish and chip shop menu?

Chips in bread as a delicacy. What the fuck??
