So I'm moving this weekend (did I mention) but have put off switching the old broadband. TalkTalk told me that in moving and switching with them I would be signing up for a new 18 month contract, and it would take 3-5 days to switch, so I said I'd think about it. Decided today it was probably the easiest thing to do, and maybe I could argue down the cost to the same deal as new customers get (12 months free essentially, just paying for line rental), but there's no one answering phone or online chat. Worst of all, I try to just do the home switch online, and I can't get it finished at the old place until 31st March and put in the new place until April. BULLSHIT.

I'm looking at signing up as a new TalkTalk customer with that offer - will they let me? Will it get the internet in the new place quicker? Who else can I possibly use? I really don't want to be without the internet for weeks. Help me Drowned in Sound, you're my only hope.
