Hi, I read the book recently and was curious to see how the movie faired so got a cheap bluray.

It wasn't bad, quite well made, ok as a visualisation of stuff that happened in the book. But it seemed that it would have been meaningless without knowing the 6 stories first. Everything just seemed really rushed and unless you'd read it you'd just be "WTF the fuck?"

Did anyone watch this movie having NOT read the book first?

It's too hot for this bullshit.
