My first reaction on being told Muhammed Ali had died was "I thought he had died years ago". Not sure why I thought this.

Anyway, this lead to a (rather ghoulish) discussion about people who were wrongly assumed to be dead. Some of the names that cropped up were -

Kirk Douglas
Bill Wyman
Harry Dean Stanton
Michael Heseltine
