How good are you in an emergency?

Epimer [Edit] [Delete] 10:21, 6 June '16

This weekend, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night at the hotel I was staying at with my gf. My recollection of what happened is that I woke up, shook my gf awake (she's slow to wake up) while saying "wake up. Wake up. There's a fire alarm. Wake up." before grabbing some clothes and the room key before getting out.

Her recollection is that she woke up from the fire alarm, thought "oh, a fire alarm", then I head-butted her, started shouting "AAARGH! AAASRGH!" in her face, then ran away without any shoes on.

So between that and the time I asked someone who had very obviously just been in the middle of a big lab explosion if they were "ok", I'm probably not great in an emergency.
