When I was in waitrose with my lad yesterday a waitrose man with a cage walked by and saw my son walking and said cos he was walking so well he would give him a banana.

So he made/encouraged us to follow him to the fruit area (the other side of the store) and made/encouraged him to pick a banana and then wrote his name on the banana.

Then we walked off,my son eating the banana and going 'man,man,man'

It was a nice thing to do,but throughout I was thinking
a)why me? Why me? Why does this stuff happen to me?
and
b) is this shoplifting?
