I have nothing to add, but my ex used to work at a place that supplied animals for film and TV. She's in that awful Your Highness film leading a camel, did the wolves in the Ridley Scott Robin Hood film, something with Eva Green and rats (wheeey?), something about a tiger in Prince of Persia (obviously nobody's seen that), trained the seagull in that The Inbetweeners episode where they go on a school trip and go out on a boat, and (FAO: Dadsnetters) trained the puppies for Big Barn Farm.
