What's the worst excuse you've ever used to get a day off?

Epimer [Edit] [Delete] 10:11, 12 July '16

Let's give h_y_g some inspiration.

I told my old boss that I'd had a cancellation on a driving test on a work day morning, so needed the morning off on very short notice. Obviously it was a second job interview for my current job. My plan for being asked how it went was to say that my driving instructor was ill and couldn't make it in the end, what is he like!!! (because I might actually need time off for an actual driving test in the future)

In the end nobody asked how it went, the cunts, and in the mother of all ironies I ended up *actually* getting a cancellation test and my instructor was *actually* ill for it and I had to take it in a borrowed car.
