Watched that documentary last night.

Was pretty disappointed to learn halfway through that the sign language thing is basically bollocks, but thought it made for a more compelling documentary as the tone of it shifted from 'this is amazing, the gorilla can communicate with a human via sign language' to 'this is quite sad, Penny is deluded, the people closest to her are entertaining this delusion and when she says that her biggest regret is Koko not having children of her own, she was actually referring to herself.'
