Morning all, hope you're enjoying DiS wedding day as much as I am.

My thread is on the subject of themed weddings, as my cousin is having a currently non-specific "fancy dress" wedding in October. My questions are twofold:

- Ever been to a themed/fancy dress wedding? Thoughts/experiences?
- How bad would it be if I didn't put on a daft costume, instead choosing the formal attire one would usually wear to someone else's wedding? I don't see this cousin very often, so I'm willing to accept anything below a 7/10 on the faux pas scale.
