"All my good jokes are dirty ones!"
"All my good jokes are dirty ones!"
swijetilleka by Sajini Wijetilleka May 1st, 2002

On entering the lair of Luck and Neat, the duo responsible for hits such as 'Piano Loco', 'A Little Bit of Luck', I experienced nervousness like I'd never seen before. Here were the biggest stars I'd come across in a long time.

Witnessing the KFC wrappers littered about, I surprised them with my housemate's famous question 'So, you've had KFC for lunch? What did you have for breakfast?' - Luck replied 'Alpen'. 'Alpen - hahahah', comes the return from Neat, whose precise breakfast plateful, I cannot recall.

The new single 'Irie', is described shortly and sweetly as about 'having a good time'. As is the album 'it's not just fourteen 'Irie's' on there y'know, there's a mixture, a fusion of flavours'.

Neatly brought on to the next point, 'Why are you in the music industry?', Luck replies with the humourous 'I'm in it for the money' and implies, (sorry, insists), that he would be a 'bank robber' if he wasn't a DJ. 'And I would be your getaway driver!!!' says Neat, appearing to wet himself with laughter. And this is what Luck & Neat are all about, great mates, who have a laugh doing what they do.

Ambitious are the boys, their main ambition they haven't achieved is that to travel - 'to India, Thailand and Japan', which resulted in a far flung decision that Japan had moved itself from the west of India, due to Neat's inability to remember it's location.

So we end it with a joke, told to us, uncensored, by Neat. 'There's an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman. They're told to go to a Christmas party, and bring something for the host. The Englishman brings holly, and enters the fold. His Scottish counterpart brings ivy, and the Irish man arrives with a pair of stained, used, post-coital female underpants. 'What's that?', asked the host, bemused by the sight. 'They're Carol's'.
