In order to take a slice of home with us on our last North American tour, I made a zine called 'Letters to America' that we gave away for free. I asked British bands to write a letter to a city of their choice on our tour routing. I chose the letter format because it meant that bands could could introduce themselves exactly as they'd wish. It also felt like the most personal of way introducing (potentially) unfamiliar Brit bands to our North American show-goers. Our Kaleide artwork co-conspirator Jack Hudson kindly drew the cover. I'm sure I'll do it again as it felt great to show people a snapshot of what I guess could be described as our musical community.
