Oceansize: DiS Tour #4 Supports Confirmed
Oceansize: DiS Tour #4 Supports Confirmed
sean by Sean Adams April 17th, 2003
Another DiS tour is hitting somewhere near(ish) to you very soon, here's who's playing..

As reported a week or so ago, the fourth Drowned in Sound tour of 2003 will feature Oceansize and we're very pleased to announce supports split between two of our favourite and most important new bands around.

Venus-sized swooping and sweetness to earth from Leeds, as recently heard on the Radio1 playlist and seen playing a DiS London showcase back in February. You've probably guessed it already, but on the first chunk of the tour will be the Elbow-like tenderness of Four Day Hombre. And on the second chunk it's Mínus who come from Iceland and take the same Stooges and hardcore influences as the Icarus Line but drive them threw a jungle of sonics and come out sounding like the best rock band around.
