How was the weekend for you?
Oli - Brilliant. Truck has got better every time I have been. Playing the main stage for the first time was a lot of fun. I also did my first gig with my side project, A Scholar and A Physician. I saw several bands who I'd never heard of who were brilliant and spent far too much money in the merchandise tent as a result...
Stu - Had a great time, enjoyed playing the main stage. Saw some good bands, met some interesting people.
Paul - Very lovely!
Who was the best band you saw over the weekend?
Oli - So many... Nervous Testpilot, Fonda 500, Misty's Big Adventure, Vic Twenty, Thomas Truax to name a few.
Stu - I would say Nervous Testpilot but we know him so it's not really fair, so I'll say Vic Twenty. I also liked their side project The Voltan Kodaly School For Girls. Thomas Truax was really good too.
Paul - Vic Twenty were really good, also enjoyed Goldrush's set, loved Lesbo Pig too, me & Stu bought their album!
What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Oli - Nervous Testpilot's hardcore mix of "Heaven knows..." by the Smiths. Or Thomas Truax's mechanical drum machine.
Stu - Thomas Traux's Hornicator.
Paul - Playing on the main stage.
Kid Samson (Mark)
How was the weekend for you?
As Truck virgins we enjoyed our time. You never forget your first time.

Difficult to answer... Many great performances. I quess my highlights came from The Edible 5ft Smiths, Fonda 500 and The Futureheads.

The whole occasion was excellent.

How was the weekend for you?
The weekend was an inspirational experience for me; being in a working band and on the dole, I don't get the opportunity to see a great deal of gigs i'm not playing at. Sean (head of DiS) has been raving about the incredible Meanwhile Back In Communist Russia for as long as i've known him, I am sorry to have not seen them until Truck.
Who was the best band you saw over the weekend?
My favourite band of the weekend, and the best band in the world as far as i'm concerned, (and although I only caught a song and a half), are The Edmund Fitzgerald. I stood close to the front with tears in my eyes screaming "oh fuck!" over and over; I offered "fucking hell man, these guys are great!" to the 12 year old to my right who looked at me bemused and oblivious to my lust- oh well! I later found out that they're only 16 themselves and fell in love again with the sleeping lion that is England's passion. They sound like Tortoise on acid, and they may never know that they are what music is, which indeed might just be their brilliance. Other bands that made me cry are The Edible 5ft Smiths, Fonda 500, The stars of Aviation and Goldrush (not really!!)
Lesbo Pig
How was the weekend for you?
It was wicked! Really nice especially cos most of the bands were playing for free, no nasty corporate sponsership, reasonably priced food and beer... everyone was friendly too.
Who was the best band you saw this weekend?
Misty's Big Adventure and The Futureheads & Mr Duck.
What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Watching Misty's Big Adventure in the sun.

How was the weekend for you?
Carnage, too many intoxicants and not enough time. It was quite strange for us playing on the Sunday this year. For the last couple of years we've played early on saturday evening so this year we had no reason to stay vaguely sober on Saturday. Somehow I managed to get bollocked by security on 2 of the stages even though I wasn't playing, quite a result.... when we did end up playing I think a couple of us were feeling a bit rough by Sunday afternoon!
Who was the best band you saw this weekend?
My memory is really hazy, and I think for most of the weekend I could only manage a 5 minute attention span! The Futureheads were very very good, as were Fonda 500, Sharko, Smilex, British Sea Power were great, though by that time I was very very battered....
What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Lord of The Rings on the giant video screen at about 2am on Saturday... attempting to DJ in the Chill out tent from 5.30am til 8am... the hot doughnuts (4 for £1, bargain!), managing to drive home at 7am on Sunday... All good!
Dive Dive (Jamie)
How was the weekend for you?
Annoying. I was ill and so the usual Insanity had to be kept in check. There was no excessive drinking or smoking and I even turned the mushrooms down. There was no nocturnal football or lunar bathing on top of the hill or intimidating of Black Nielsen (always fun) and I didn't wake up in someone else's tent. It was more of a play-and-watch kinda year which brings me on to the next question....
Who was the best band you saw this weekend?
I know the others in the band would say Electric Eel Shock. But the others are misguided fools. I thought Sharko were certainly the most Belgian but also the most entertaining, they played around like the joke was really on us. Espescially with the undressing thing and the 'panto' splitting of the audience for no reason. Having said that, swallowing drumsticks is hard to beat (E.E.S.).
What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Oh, maybe Graham from Youth Movies doing a really gay dance on stage in front of Goldrush's garrow while they were playing with M. Gardner. Then when he was grabbed by a bouncer he claimed it was OK because he had a pass. He remembered nothing the next day.....and that's what Truck is all about.

How was the weekend for you?
Ah, it was fantastic, thanks. We camped near Abingdon on the Friday night with Magoo and some other friends, and some of us stayed at Truck till Monday morning, so it was a really camp weekend. Saw loads of great bands, had some awesome meals and met some lovely people.
Who was the best band you saw this weekend?
I enjoyed Gunnbunny the most I think. They're amazing already, but when they're older they're going to be fucking superb. Edible 5ft. Smiths, Misty's Big Adventure and Fi Lo Radio were the other big revelations for me. Jay went a massive bundle on Cayto - I hardly saw them cos I was a bit fucked at that point and Mick's favourite was definitely Buck 65. There was a lot of good shit though.
What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Saturday afternoon. Ace.
Zoltan Kodaly School For Girls (Jennifer 'Muddy')

Who was the best band you saw this weekend?

What was the highlight of the weekend for you?
Us playing Je T'Aime in the chillout tent - our guest vocalists Leo and Katrine really made it for me! Cheers chaps.
