U2 have postponed their much vaunted 2005 world tour, originally scheduled to begin on March 1st in Miami. "All of the plans are in total flux," a source close to the band told Rolling Stone, with a family illness said to be the reason for the change. Tour dates and on sale dates were to expected to be announced this month, but those plans have been delayed.
The band will still play the February 13th Grammy awards ceremony in Los Angeles and will attend its induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 14th in New York.
It is unlike that the venues for the tour will change, merely the actual performance dates.
