Jay-Z was joined on stage at his Royal Albert Hall date last night not only by Coldplay singer Chris Martin, but also Martin's wife, Hollywood A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow.
Why? No flippin' idea, but Martin's among the contributors on Jay-Z's forthcoming Kingdom Come album. Martin sang on 'Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)', from The Blueprint, as well as one untitled number, presumably from said new record.
Paltrow sang backing vocals on 'Song Cry'. Jay-Z's partner, Beyoncé Knowles, also appeared during the set, as did Nas.
Which all sounds rather wonderful. We were in the pub instead. Sadly.
Kingdom Come is expected to be released at the end of November. Just in time for Christmas, y'all.
