Last years event at Temple Newsam saw Terrorvision, Rachel Stamp, CO.UK & The Jellys to name just a few, but this year it is completely dance orientated and is to be held at Woodhouse Moor.
Some of the star names for this years line-up are Alex Patterson (DJ with The Orb), Andy Smith (of Portishead) & the Utah Saints.
Also confirmed to be doing DJ-ing sets are Jarvis Cocker & Steve Mackey of Pulp.
Other acts set to play include Moose, Up & Bustle & Out, a band who are on the Ninja Tunes label.
Other attractions include the Groovy Movie Picture House, the world’s first mobile solar powered cinema, with stereo sound and an 8ft x 10ft screen & DJ workshops led by experienced Leeds-based DJ Wayne Sealey to learn about mixing, scratching and production techniques.
Also their are fairground rides and the usual expected at a festival.
Tickets are FREE but very limited. They can be obtained from Virgin Megastore or Crash Records in Leeds ONLY!
The gig is to be held THIS SUNDAY (July 1st) and, funds aside, I will PROBABLY be there, so to all Yorkshire based readers, support the local scene.
