Baby Barbecue 2001 details confirmed

Bury St Edmunds very own music festival, as organised by Miss Black America frontman Seymour Glass, has confirmed its lineup showcasing the best up and coming bands in what Seymour calls "the best music scene in the country" an opinion shared by DJ John Peel who dubbed it 'the new Seattle' and the Radio One veteran is likely to be in attendance.

The Baby Barbecue 2001 All-dayer will take place at Pestellos in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 22nd July and, aswell as a selection of local bands, will include an open-mic accoustic stage, DJs in the courtyard and a skate ramp provided by the local skateshop Hardcore Hobbies.

The full line-up can now be confirmed as:

Main Stage: Miss Black America, Miss:Spelt Yoof, Chevette, The Dawn Parade, Becky Jago, Blue Gandhi, Fab Jansen, The Bardo, Nevertheless, The Raphael Gray Showband and Lamina

Accoustic Stage: Andrew Taylor, Greg MacDonald, Daisy, Tom Shevlin, Jim Welsad, Fat Panda, Billion Dollar Brain and Ok Hotel

DJs will include Dave Gray, Kate and Erica of Babysham, Gish of Miss Black America and Tom of RBK.

Tickets are a mere £7 and can be purchased from Hardcore Hobbies in St John's Street or from Pestellos on any gig night. Reservations can be made by phoning 01284 766444
Headliners Miss Black America are in session on John Peel's Radio One programme this Wednesday (18th July) at 10pm.
