The Futureheads unveil new album details
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly January 31st, 2008

Since announcing the completion of their third record back in August, the Futureheads have busied themselves with the business of drumming up enough attention to ensure its launch goes smoother than that of previous, poorly-selling but critically-lauded album News and Tributes. Five months later and they’re ready to pull the dusty sheet off the fresh full-length.

Still, This is Not the World doesn’t have an exact release date, though it will arrive in late May, which suggests either the 19th or the 26th of that month. It’ll be issued by the band’s own, new Nul Records label.

Here’s what they’ll issue:

‘The Beginning of the Twist’
‘Walking Backwards’
‘Think Tonight’
‘The Girl With the Radio Heart’
‘This Is Not the World’
‘Sale of the Century’
‘Hard to Bear’
‘Work Is Never Done’
‘Broke Up the Time’
‘Everything's Changing’
‘Sleet’
‘What You Want’

Album opener, in every sense of the word, ‘The Beginning of the Twist’ will be the album’s first single from the 10th of March.

The band will tour, too, from the end of next month - details here.
