Mullets & Leather Trouser Moments Make Comebacks!
rubbafish by Colin Weston May 2nd, 2002
It's like the nineties never happened with a selection of the top 80's rock acts all on the road in the forthcoming months.

First up are Vince Neil (singer with Motley Crue), Jackyl and Skid Row on the 'Rock Never Stops Tour'. To date it seems to be a US only tour but any changes, then we will let you know

Secondly we have german stars The Scorpions, Dio & Deep Purple joining forces for a US tour at the end of May.

The 'Glam Slam Metal Jam Tour' also has an equally retro line up. Poison, Cinderella, Winger and Faster Pussycat are in this one and dates are to be announced but this, as the previous two, are expected to be US only.

For the more extreme (as in those who were REALLY into the 80's scene) metallers there is the 'Rock Fest 2002' tour. Dokken, Ratt, Warrant, Firehouse & LA Guns are all joining forces but guess what... US only folks.

But British hopes are kept alive by the veterans Def Leppard. The band are to release their 10th album, titled '(X)' in August, with a new single being released in July.

This does, indeed, RAWK!!!!!!
