Reading nearly sold out!
-gen- by Gen Williams May 27th, 2002
Two months before the Carling Weekend is even due to take place, it appears that weekend tickets for Reading are close to selling out.

Less than a month after the festival organisers began to announce this year's lineup, which has been hailed as a particularly strong one, featuring Foo Fighters, The Prodigy, The Offspring, The Strokes, Muse and Pulp, ticket agents wayahead.com and ticketweb.com have run out of weekend tickets, before the full lineup has even been announced yet; more acts are set to be announced tomorrow.

It seems that bigmouth.co.uk and stargreen.co.uk still have tickets, though it seems likely that they may follow suit and run out of tickets pretty soon; meanwhile tickets are still available at most ticket agencies for the Leeds dates. If you know of any other sites still selling weekend tickets for Reading, please post on the DiS boards and let everyone know!

Editors note: bigmouth.co.uk seem to have sold out of weekend tickets at this point too, all day tickets are available, but don't include camping rights (so get a weekend ticket kid to carry your tent past the gate)
