**The Lemonhead's mainman Evan Dando plays his first gigs in the UK for nearly

4 years**

Dando will be joined by longtime collaborator Ben Lee and ex-Radish frontman Ben

Kweller during his first shows since his appearance at Reading 1997.

Dando has been working with Lee, Giant Sand's Howe Gelb and Calexico on his new

material. He's also said to be working on a solo collection of Gram Parsons

cover versions, though no release dates have been set. A live recording will be

released in Australia, New Zealand and Japan through Modular Recordings during

June 2001.
