Coming very SWN: Max Tundra joins DiS' bill this Friday
sean by Sean Adams November 11th, 2008

Pioneering electro-nik Max Tundra is joining our DiS bill this Friday at Huw Stephen's SWN festival.

You'll find him at the Cardiff Barfly jostling in a sandwich between post-rocksters Stray Borders and DiSser's-new-band-of-thee-year Johnny Foreigner Check him out online at maxtundra.com and myspace.com/maxtundra.

Swn Festival and Drowned In Sound present...

Friday 14th November

@ Barfly, Cardiff

10.00pm - 11.00pm Johnny Foreigner

8.45pm - 9.30pm Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man Max Tundra (MySpace)

7.45pm - 8.15pm Stray Borders (MySpace)

Entry to the gig is free and you get priority entry if you have a swn wristband, otherwise just walk up and pay £7.50 on the door. Also playing the festival this weekend in Cardiff at 19 different venues are the likes of Rolo Tomassi, Clinic, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Cats in Paris, Broken Records, Volcano!, Young Marble Giants, Future of the Left, The Pippettes, Pagan Wanderer Lu and lots lots more. Visit swnfest.co.uk for further info.

Only a couple of other changes to the previously advertised bill according to Huw, they are "The Peth have been added on Saturday night at Tommy's Bar. Baby J replaces Chipmunk on Saturday at The Point"

Lastly, if you're about on Friday afternoon and fancy learning more about how to do-it-yourself, I'm hosting a panel of various music industry know-it-alls which is free to get into with a wristband (details here).
