Audio Borealis: Win a trip to Iceland for 'You Are In Control' event
John_Brainlove by John Brainlove August 19th, 2009

The IMX organisation, dedicated to helping the development of Icelandic music worldwide, are giving away a free trip to Reykjavik for their annual creative industries conference.

Not only will the winner get to bed down in a deluxe four-star hotel (the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica) but they'll also get registered for the "You Are In Control" event, which explores the digital future of the creative industries in music, film, gaming, visual arts and design.

Here's how to enter...

"To take advantage of this incredible opportunity all you need to do is become a fan of YAIC on Facebook and send a message telling the team in 1-2 paragraphs which digital service you like to use most and why? The competition will be open between 5pm on Tuesday 18th August, to midnight on Friday 21th August. All entrants should be over 18, have a valid passport and be able to travel from/to London, Berlin or Copenhagen. Please also let us know in your email which of these cities you'd like to fly from."

You can find out more about You Are In Control here, including bargain travel & hotel deals for those not lucky enough to win the competition prize...

And while you're at it, sign up for the bi-weekly IMX newsletter for information on what's going on in the world of Icelandic music.
