Watch: Reading Festival highlights including Frightened Rabbit and GreenDay
sean by Sean Adams August 24th, 2013

The BBC are broadcasting from Reading Festival this weekend, and we have some highlights from day one of the event to share with you.

There are live streams and plenty more full sets being uploaded over on the BBC R&L website - bbc.co.uk/readingandleeds - which is where you'll also be able to watch Foals' full set this evening, as well as on BBC Three. Oh and before we get to the embeds, we should probably point out that you can join the discussion on the DiS boards about R&L on the telly, here.

Frightened Rabbit

Frabbits played Reading for the first time, and as you can see from 'Backyard Skulls' a packed R1/NME tent lapped it up. Watch the full set on the iPlayer here.

Chvrches

The Scottish trio recorded this lush, stripped-back live 'treehouse session' version of 'The Mother We Share'.

A$AP Rocky

'Wild For The Night' got Reading dancing...

System of a Down

Here's a video of a song entitled 'Radio/Video' which was performed on the Main Stage of Reading yesterday.

---

GreenDay

Billie Joe & co headlined Friday night at Reading. You can watch the full set over on the iPlayer but here's 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams'.

---

BBC Introducing

The BBC also have their stage full of 'emerging' new acts. Here's a playlist of tracks they've uploaded, which opens with Thumpers - you might recognise the singer and drummer if you were ever into Pull Tiger Tail and Antihero.
