¡Forward, Russia!: Singles, tours and instores
_kp_ by Kate Price December 23rd, 2005

Those of you interested in everyone's new favourite band, ¡Forward, Russia! listen up. 2006 is going to be a busy year for them (as if 2005 wasn't hectic enough!) and as such, many wonderful plans are afoot to bring you the maximum in listening/watching enjoyment.

First on the list is the new single. "Twelve" (backed by a brand, spanking new version of "Four") is released on January 16th on CD / 7" and digital download (iTunes/Bleep/7even etc) through Dance To The Radio (DTTR006). It is available to pre-order now from Pure Groove.

To celebrate this momentous event, the band invite you all to come along to their single launch party on Saturday 14th of January at Leeds Uni Mine Bar. The line-up is ¡Forward, Russia! supported by the wonderful Komakino, the fabulous Kubichek and Steve Lamacq spinning the wheels of steel.

At the end of February there will also be a new Dance To The Radio Compilation (DTTR007) featuring brand new tracks from the likes of Bam Bam Francs, Dead Disco, ¡Forward, Russia!, iLiKETRAiNS, Komakino, Kubichek!, The Lodger, The Lucida Console, Napoleon IIIrd, O Fracas, The Pigeon Detectives, The Playmates, Redcarsgofaster, Samsa, Shut Your Eyes And You'll Burst Into Flames, Snow White, Tera:Tora, This Et Al, Voltage Union, We Start Fires, Whores Whores Whores and Yes Bo$$. This will be accompanied by a nationwide DTTR tour, headlined by iForward, Russia! and supported by various affiliated bands along the way.
