The Vessels don't waste time
shadyadie by [redacted] April 13th, 2003
The Vessels are to re-release their single ‘Don’t Waste Your Time’, on 12th May.

The track is from their well-received Americana-style, self-titled debut album (out on Gravity/BMG). The single will be backed by the tracks ‘Innocence (acoustic)’ and ‘There’s A Little Girl’. The artwork is by “the slightly off-kilter mind of Gerard Gannon”, their guitarist. ‘Don’t Waste Your Time’ was originally released a year ago and was ‘single of the week’ on Mark And Lard’s Radio 1 show back then.

In the last week or so they have appeared on Jonathan Ross’ TV show, to an audience of 5 million (nice). They had to cancel a Reading gig at the last minute on Wednesday due to vocalist Paul getting hit by a nasty virus.

Gigs coming up for the Surrey chaps include a new monthly residency at the Brixton Windmill. Dates below:

APRIL
4th – London, Camden Barfly
24th – London, Brixton Windmill

MAY
5th – Newcastle, Evolution Festival (onstage 4:30pm)
22nd – London, Brixton Windmill
23rd – London, Tapestry Club (St. Aloysius Social Club, Pheonix Rd)

JUNE
19th – London, Brixton Windmill

JULY
5th – Guildford, Guildford Festival
