It follows various PR bungles by new Blue boy Lee Ryan who rejected the significance of the 9/11 atacks as being less important than 'whale slaughtering'. However, the press never publicised his other comment at an awards show to the effect that Tony Blair's family should all be killed in a house fire. Despite the quip being filmed by BBC's Liquid News, Blue's staunchly powerful PR man made sure the tabloids remained silent.

The old men Blue, who had a single released in 1977 which got to number 18, wanted £5m out of EMI to compensate for the damage their reputation has suffered through people confusing the two groups.
Blue fans may be stupid, but they're not blind.
"Are you seriously saying that fans of one group would mistake one for the other?" commented the judge. "There is somewhat a difference of appearance. One is aged like you and me, the other is a boy band."
Old Blue said "we're just a band of brothers", and added: "We still believe in the merits of our case, but the financial risks of continuing would have been potentially catastrophic."
Blue and Blue are soon to release their third and eighth albums respectively.
