Deftones: Ow, My Groin! + Liddle Dates
sean by Sean Adams August 6th, 2003
Deftones frontman, responsible for bad facial hair in colleges around the world, forced to cancel shows...

Ok, don't laugh, but due to what reports are calling a "a severe groin injury" to Chino Moreno, the 'tones have had to cancel two Summer Sanitarium shows this week in the USA. Apparently Chino injured himself on Saturday in Chicago, although we can neither confirm nor deny that he was kicked in the nads by touring partner James Hetfield, however he probably stood on his mic stand in a Side-show Bob-like incident. Good news for Yankees is the band return to their tour with Metallica and Linkin Park tonight.

And the even better news for Deftonians in the UK is that the band have announced two extra dates when they come over to play Wembley Arena.

SEPTEMBER
16th Nottingham Rock City apparently SOLD OUT
17th Glasgow Barrowlands apparently isn't SOLD OUT

Revolution Smile support on the above dates.

DiScuss: Who else had a motive to kick Chino's middle wicket? Has the new album grown on you? Is 'Deftones' better than 'Adrenaline' or 'Around the Fur'?
