Apologies to any band names we got a bit wrong, due to the nature we got the doc we got sent. We're doing a full event preview, so if your band are playing, send us your demo to: Adie Nunn, Assistant Editor, DrownedinSound, 10 Fox House, Maysoule Road, London, SW11 2BX
Find out how you can 'Break In the City' in for FREE here.
Checkout Issue 2 of the Drowned in Sound mag, available at the event and nationwide from September 11th, which features an interview with Tony Wilson. Ad deadline has been extended to September 7th for anyone wishing to market their band/label within our pages. Contact advertising@drownedinsound.com.
Also Twisted Nerve Records - home to the likes of Badly Drawn Boy and Mum & Dad - look set to make their presence well and truly known at this year's In The City music convention with a huge showcase gig at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on September 13th. This unprecendented showcase will feature Graham Massey's (808 State) Toolshed project headlining as well as an appearance from new TN signing Aidan Smith and a very special Twisted nerve guest doing a solo acoustic set (I wonder who that could be!).
Tickets can be bought here and for more information on the experimental jazz fusion spectacle that is Toolshed, check their profile
