Who is Carina Round we hear you ask? Were you not paying attention? Honestly... she's defineable as a Brummy singer songwriter, and you could lump her in with Simone, Buckley, Polly Harvey, Mazzy Starr, Aqualung, and even Cat Power, if you wanted to. Her debut 'First Blood Mystery' was one of those records a few years back which didn't fit in with what the press wanted to write about, but boy o'boy what a record. The follow-up, 'The Disconnection' takes a few brave steps sideways and forwards and you can buy it in shops from October 13th. The first single from the album is 'Into My Blood' out on September 29th.
