The Flaming Lips are to release a feature film, 'Christmas On Mars', before the end of the year.
The film, written and directed by front man Wayne Coyne, follows a character called Major Syrtis during Christmas time on Mars, has been described as a cross beetween Eraserhead and The Wizard of Oz.
A repackaged version of the Lips' latest long-player, 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots', is to be released on November 18th. It will include a DVD containing two hours of content.
