Mínus In Police Chase SHOCKER!
-Raz- by Raziq Rauf October 29th, 2003
Mummy’s gone to Iceland... and she ain’t coming back, but those kerrraazzzy fellows from the Icy Isle of Iceland, Mínus, are long-hauling all their frozen goodies to our own sodden isle. Bless ‘em. And hopefully they won’t have lost any more wayward bassists in the meantime!

It has long been that their thunder-stringer Johnny was the enveloping force of all things RAWK (I do apologise for writing that word) and his antics over the past month have certainly not stopped the twittering voices.

The dear chappie had been believed missing earlier this month - reported to Les Polizei and evvvverything. But he turned up. Eventually. Actually what he’d been doing was celebrating getting his driving license back. It had been forcibly removed from his person four years earlier for driving like a loon while totally influenced by otherworldly substances. WHOOPS!

As he attempted to reacquire his driving capabilities, he was chased (yes chased) by Les Polizei and crashed into another car. Les Polizei duly discovered that the wily fellow was again driving under some sort of influence and took him back to their pad to sit in a locked room with bars on the windows in a nice stripey suit. This was THE DAY HE GOT HIS LICENSE BACK. Some would say "whoops" again.

Especially when you find out the band were back in Rekjavik for an appearance at the Iceland Airwaves Festival. Luckily he got away with it, somehow, and joined the band to wallop a crowd's ears off.

Mínus are to release ‘A European Union’, a split-mini-album (check the mo'fo hyphens!) with melodic Swiss merchant rockers Favez on the finefinefine new label of Big Ben Myers, Captains Of Industry on November 3rd. Mínus will be supporting Million Dead throughout November:

23rd Southampton Joiners
24th Brighton Freebutt
25th Oxford Zodiac
26th Manchester Roadhouse
27th Sheffield Fez
28th Glasgow Cathouse
29th Leeds Cockpit
30th Bristol Louisiana

They'll also be playing on December 2nd @ London Garage as part of the K! Fest.
