Whilst there were few clear-cut winners amongst the, oooh, 737-or-so award categories (click here for a full run-down), Outkast, Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams (of The Neptures and N*E*R*D) led the way with six nominations each. Justin Timberlake and 50 Cent received five nominations, alongside Missy Elliott, Eminem and Luther Vandross.
Album of the year contenders are Missy, Justin, OutKast, Evanescence and The White Stripes, whilst the award for record of the year will be fought over by Beyoncé and Jay-Z ('Crazy In Love'), Black Eyed Peas ('Where Is The Love?'), Coldplay ('Clocks'), Eminem ('Lose Yourself') and Outkast ('Hey Ya!').
Ballots will now be sent to the voting members of the Recording Academy, who will have to submit their votes by February 7th. The awards take place on February 8th.
