Still fighting fit: Dave's NOT dead
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver June 1st, 2006

Oh, how I chuckled at the telly last night when it reported that rumours were circulating that Dave Grohl of popular rockers Foo Fighters was DEAD. I chuckled, of course, 'cause it's quite obviously not true.

Grohl has spoken to NME about the bizarre rumour:

"I guess I've finally graduated to that status of being an internet rumour. It weirded me out a bit, but it's stupid. I'm like a cockroach, don't worry, I'll be around for a long time."

Having recently visited London Zoo and examined a cockroach up close and personal, I can report that, in actual fact, that Grohl really isn't like one at all. His hair is much nicer, for one. The drummer-turned-singer added that his wife Jordyn had received messages of condolence:

"I got a phone message from a friend saying, 'Er I guess... Jordyn... this is maybe... for you. I'm so sorry to hear what happened". I heard this message and went, 'What the fuck?'. They were leaving a message on my cell phone saying 'I'm sorry Dave died'."
