Vermin Poets - Poets of England

Review by Amanda Farah

Musically it’s nothing wildly original, and chances are you’ve already heard the best bits somewhere else (like, say, a Fire Dept. record).»

Rough Trade Amazon UK

the vermin poets are neil palmer on guitar, the eminent billy childish on bass, juju claudius and wolf howard on drums with all sharing the vocal chord duties. this isn't just any old garage racket though, this is childish and crew going for the pop psychedelic jugular, like classic 80's television personalities meeting the power of the who. the vermin poets seek neither to gild the ars poetica, nor to slay its sons and daughters. the stated aim of the vermin poets is to eek out the shape of things sufficiently well so that others may understand and explore, and to have a real blast doing it.
