introduction to the wool label containing oddities from masters of their respective crafts. laetitia sadier needs no introduction, being the singer of stereolab, and here provides a taster of her forthcoming record on drag city. castanets do incredibly dark and beautiful folkism with an intense voice emanating from raymond esposa. peter broderick is a refugee from the band horse feathers and currently works in efterklang, and his droned-out folk accompanies french solo artist double u's spacey pop perfectly.
